Within each woman lies the power of the universe. A divine feminine energy there to guide and fuel her as she moves throughout the world and bring her vision to life. To do this, she must be clear. She must move with intention and be on purpose. She must SHIFT.
IMARA is where she taps into her power and begins the journey to unleashing her full potential… with the support of her TRIBE.
"I have yet to find the words to best describe my experience here at IMARA retreat, but if I had to choose one, it would be TRANSFORMATIVE "
“So many amazing women, connecting and inspiring one another, celebrating excellence and empowerment... this is a movement! We have a purpose and the power to show that together we can create the change we wish to see in the world. Starting with ourselves and each other... this is what IMARA is about, and I am so happy to be a part, and have extended my tribe too!”
Bozoma Saint John
“I found my tribe at the Imara Retreat in Morocco. @the.coloredgirl created a space for beautiful, dope, black women from all over the world to come together to uplift and empower each other.”
“Thanks again for having me at this amazing event. Will cherish it forever. Before going to Imara..I was lost, confused and broken. Had come out of a long term relationship and needed healing. That's exactly what I got and more. I met some really amazing women who have overcome their struggles and had used them as tools to strengthen their God given purposes. I'm forever grateful for the friendships I've created with like minded strong women. I'm now aligned, committed and ready to walk in my purposeful life as a strong black woman. I found my #blackgirlmagic at Imara"
“#Imara2019 touched me in ways I never could have imagined. I’m forever grateful and changed by the experience…. When I tell you this #ImaraRetreat is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before... I wish this moment for every woman.”
“My mentor told me to connect with @the.coloredgirl and go to the @imara.retreat for #imara2019. I had NO idea what I was getting into - or really where I was even going. It’s really amazing the experiences we can have when we JUST TRUST!! - so I went. Not only was this an experience I should have- it was needed. It was beautiful to be just me- sharing an experience that was #transformative and wonderful. Still on high!! I’ve found my tribe! Looking forward to next years @imara.retreat. This. I promise. Will #elevate you.”

“IMARA is unlike anything I've ever experienced. I left with a new tribe, a new outlook, and a new vibration. I'm returning next year... and every year after that!! I'm in awe of Victory & Tori. The programming was spectacular. Every speaker was phenomenal. I took so much away from the workshops! The planners, vendors, and partners were perfectly curated; an unforgettable experience.”
“Inspirational women from across the diaspora? YES!!! Honest sessions focused on health, wellness, professional development, money and motherhood? YES!!! Zebras walking up and down the place? YASSSSSS!!! Thank you so much to the @imara.retreat and @the.coloredgirl for inviting me. It was such a wonderful experience.”
“The @imara.retreat was so impactful. I met a powerhouse group of women of color that were actresses, models, fashion designers, psychologists, content creators, graphic designers, nurses, doctors, real estate agents, consultants, wealth coaches & CEO’s in fortune 100 & more 😭🙌🏼 I mean, the inspiration & influence I gained in this trip was real and I am beyond grateful to have met each one of them. This retreat gave me the push & motivation to continue my path…The @imara.retreat was such an amazing experience!... a life changing opportunity. This whole experience has been so surreal!!!”
“I went on the IMARA retreat expecting to celebrate my cousins birthday, get some great pictures, and add to good memories with our moms. Basically have a typical family trip in an amazing place. However what I gained from the trip was no less than spectacular! The first day alone was filled with so much love, positivity, connection and opportunities for growth it was actually bit overwhelming! But overwhelming in the best of ways!
“Imara hit the sweet spot for me. The ultimate value that one walks away with at the end of the retreat is far too great to put a price on. I got the opportunity to meet genuine wholesome women that were so full of love and compassion , a rare find to be in the same room with 100 women that share similar values and beliefs in the cluttered and noisy 21st century. This is the best event you can invest in for yourself… Imara will help you grow and go further into your being spiritually, mentally and emotionally. “
“Ain’t no magic like #Imara2019… with so much soulful sisterhood goodness. The significance of this experience is hard to put into words because It’s such a surreal experience. I’m indebted to @imara.retreat”
