THE COLORED GIRL UNVEILS DETAILS FOR THE 2022 IMARA RETREAT, THEME, AND ANNOUNCES IMARA ENCORE

NEW YORK, June 13, 2022 - THE COLORED GIRL, a global community of 82,000 Black, Latinx, Indigenous & Asian womxn (BIWOC) on a mission to uplift, unite, and empower womxn of color; today unveiled additional details for The IMARA Retreat 2022 and announced: "IMARA ENCORE'' providing both exclusive in-person attendance at the Africa Retreat as well as a dynamic virtual offering, with an exciting schedule of speakers, experiences and performances. With 2 days of content airing from September 16-17th, the hybrid event will encompass the richness of the IMARA Retreat.

The 4th annual IMARA Retreat will kick off July 17th with a week dedicated to elevating the mindsets of women of color from all across the globe, putting their intentions into practice, and moving towards a life of generosity and abundance. Following last year's theme, "The Shift" THE COLORED GIRL is proud to announce this year's theme: "This year's theme: "ABUNDANCE" within each womxn lies everything she needs. An overflow of wealth to guide and fuel her as she moves throughout the world and brings her vision to life. To do this, she must be clear. She must move with intention and be on purpose. She must have an ABUNDANCE mindset. 

We are also excited to announce that the IMARA Retreat is presented by Amazon and will be held for the first time in TWO LOCATIONS; the beautiful vibrant city of Nairobi, Kenya, and the gorgeous pristine seaside location of Zanzibar, Tanzania.
